Al Dhafra (D1) inked 30-year old American ex-international power forward Derek Hall (211-108kg-90, college: Albright). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Hungarian passport. Hall has played for the last two years at KW Titans in Canadian NBL. In 49 NBLCanada games he recorded 12.6ppg, 7.8rpg and 2.3apg in 2018-19 season. Hall helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was voted to USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Honorable Mention. He was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2015.
Hall has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Hall has played previously professionally in Taiwan (Kaohsiung), United Kingdom (London Lions) and Hungary (Huebner Nyiregyhazi BS).
He attended Albright College until 2012 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
